Never heard of this band until I heard this song "Chambray" used in a skateboarding video by Quicksilver. Band is called "We Barbarians". Really digging this song.

The National is so dang good. This music video for their song "Terrible Love" is so perfect. I want to see them live so badly!

Everyone's dream is finally a reality. The Perks of Being a Wallflower has finally been made into a movie. The trailer premiered last night at the 2012 MTV movie awards. Who is stoked to see this? The trailer gave me cold chills.

Ben Nordberg just recently came out with a new video for Flip Skateboards. I didn't know much about this dude prior to this part, other than just hearing his name, but he surely rips hard. Way sick laid back style.

Tallest Man on Earth is coming out with a new album on June 7th, and it is going to be amazing! Below is single titled "1904" off the new album "There's No Leaving Now". I also attached a beautiful video for the track "Love is All" from a previous album. Both are well worth taking the time to enjoy.

Just got back from a visit from New York, so that explains my lack of new material on the blog. I hope to get some pictures up from my trip soon. I am traveling to New York this week, and I just recently purchased a Fuji Instax 210 camera to use during my trip. I am so excited to set this camera wild on the streets of New York. You Sweet Thing You!

I went and saw "5 Year Engagement" last night and first off, it was a great movie. Very funny and definately worth seeing. The movie used the song "Sweet Thing" by Van Morrison, and it just fit so well and I was instantly hooked on the song. So therefore I felt I better share it so others can enjoy it.

So I have been experimenting with 35mm film cameras, and one of my favorites so far is my Holga 135BC. I haven't really came up with anything amazing yet, but it has been lots of fun regardless. I was trying my hand at a long exposure shot above main street in St. George, UT, and this is what I came up with. It is a little overexposed but for my first time not to shabby.

That's What's Up!

Edward Sharpe & TMZ have a new album coming out on May 29th. It is entitled "Here". I am pretty stoked on it haha. The video above is for the single "That's What's Up". It's funky and upbeat, and it leads me to expect great things from this upcoming album. Can't wait!

Over this past weekend, I had the pleasure to watch a documentary on Jean Michel Basquiat. If you don't know who he is then look him up. His artwork is truly one of a kind. A poem was used in the documentary by Langston Hughes, and I felt it was worth sharing.
