Cody McEntire

Another sweet part from Think Skateboard's new video "Business As Usual". Cody McEntire is amazing, and his video parts are always really sick and this one is no exception.

Life in Motion

So I have been experimenting with 35mm film cameras, and one of my favorites so far is my Holga 135BC. I haven't really came up with anything amazing yet, but it has been lots of fun regardless. I was trying my hand at a long exposure shot above main street in St. George, UT, and this is what I came up with. It is a little overexposed but for my first time not to shabby.

That's What's Up!

Edward Sharpe & TMZ have a new album coming out on May 29th. It is entitled "Here". I am pretty stoked on it haha. The video above is for the single "That's What's Up". It's funky and upbeat, and it leads me to expect great things from this upcoming album. Can't wait!

NY State of Mind

It's crazy how quickly time flies. It was a year ago that I first paid a visit to the Big Apple. Well a seed must have been planted, because a year later another trip is almost here. I decided to dust off a few of my favorite photos from my last visit. Taken with my android phone. Enjoy.

The Genius Child

Jean Michel Basquiat
Over this past weekend, I had the pleasure to watch a documentary on Jean Michel Basquiat. If you don't know who he is then look him up. His artwork is truly one of a kind. A poem was used in the documentary by Langston Hughes, and I felt it was worth sharing.

“Genius Child”
Langston Hughes

This is a song for the genius child.
Sing it softly, for the song is wild.
Sing it softly as ever you can -
Lest the song get out of hand.

Nobody loves a genius child.

Can you love an eagle,
Tame or wild?
Can you love an eagle,
Wild or tame?
Can you love a monster
Of frightening name?

Nobody loves a genius child.

Kill him - and let his soul run wild

Here We Go.

So I have tried this blog thing in the past without much success. But I have decided to revamp and go in a different direction haha. A major problem of mine in the past, was being consistent with creating new posts and adding new content to my blog. This time, I am making it my goal to keep adding new content, even if no one is looking at it. This blog will be a collection of photos, music, skateboarding, and whatever other random things present themselves.
